What veneers can fix

Veneers are one of the most versatile tools in cosmetic dentistry. A single appointment plan can address:

Veneers vs. Lumineers

Traditional porcelain veneers require a small amount of enamel to be removed so the veneer sits flush. Lumineers are ultra-thin (roughly the thickness of a contact lens) and can often be bonded with little to no enamel reduction — making them a reversible option for many patients.

Dr. Tiet is trained in both, and will recommend whichever is the best fit for your case.

The veneer process at our office

  1. Consultation & smile design — we discuss what you want, study your face and bite, and design a smile that fits you.
  2. Tooth preparation — for traditional veneers, a thin layer of enamel is gently reshaped.
  3. Digital impression — using a 3M intraoral scanner instead of goopy trays.
  4. Temporary veneers — so you leave looking great while your customs are made.
  5. Final placement — your custom veneers are bonded in place, polished, and adjusted to your bite.

Frequently asked questions

How long do veneers last?

Quality porcelain veneers typically last 10–15 years or more with good oral hygiene and regular cleanings.

Are veneers permanent?

Traditional veneers require a small amount of enamel removal, which is permanent. Lumineers are often reversible because little to no enamel needs to be removed.

Will veneers look natural?

When designed by an experienced cosmetic dentist, yes — they should look like better versions of your own teeth, not Hollywood-fake.
